Do you offer a design service, and is there a charge for this?
We pride ourselves on providing honest and knowledgeable advice and a design service that's completely free of charge and without obligation. All our design quotes are fully itemised down to the smallest item.

Do you have a showroom where we can view your work?
Our workshop and showroom is open to you at any time, and we would be delighted to give you an insight into the quality craftsmanship and vast choice of furniture, appliances and materials on show. If you prefer we can arrange to visit you in the comfort of your own home, at a time most convenient to suit you. Whilst this option does not allow you to see our furniture first hand, we have many samples and illustrations that we can bring along to help inspire you.

If we decide to make an order, how long can we expect to wait before the work is done?
Once your order is placed with us, we aim for a six week lead time. Why six weeks? Because we want to provide the best service possible with minimum disruption to yourself and to do this we need to co-ordinate the arrival of all parts etc in the warehouse before starting work in your home.

Will there be someone on hand to oversee the installation?
We employ our own team of full-time skilled fitters who are extremely knowledgeable and provide an exceptional quality of installation. Our design team do oversee the project from start to finish and will ensure that you are completely happy with the end result.

If there are to be other tradesmen involved in our project - plumbers, electricians etc. - do we need to organise this ourselves?
Generally our quotes are for the fitting and installation of our furniture / appliances only. However, if you wish, it is possible for us to co-ordinate other tradesmen, arranging for them to provide quotes for your approval and be on site at specific dates. Alternatively, if you have preferred tradesmen whom you would like us to work with, we will be happy to co-ordinate the project with them.

Can we arrange to have the goods supplied only, or do you always fit your own furniture?
Obviously, wherever possible we prefer to fit our furniture to ensure that the work is carried out to our customary high standards, but yes, we can supply only. If you decide that this is the best approach for you, please remember that to qualify for only 5% VAT, we are required to both supply and fit your furniture.

When are we expected to pay for the goods?
Our normal payment terms are 25% deposit with the signed order agreement, followed by 50% at least one week prior to installation. The remaining balance to be paid once the work has been satisfactorily completed. Alternatively, through Conister Trust, we do offer finance, which can be applied for and approved almost immediately.

Do you provide after sales service?
Yes we do. We consider this to be a very important part of our service and always arrange to come back to your project a month later, to ensure that that everything is working as it should and that you are 100% happy.
